C-tech is a vocational program that offers nationally recognized telecommunications and networking certifications. Certified students are equipped to step into well paid skilled labor positions immediately after graduation.
Ombudsman students who completed this program have accepted jobs or pursued post-secondary opportunities with several local organizations and companies, including:
- Chris Frye Electrical
- Jabil
- Bear Communications
Ombudsman students who complete our C-Tech program go on to get jobs such as:
- Telecommunications Installer – Trainee
- Telecommunications Technician –Trainee
- Network Technician – Entry Level
- Alarm Install Technician
Students who participate in this program often report that they are able to advance their work training programs early or ahead of schedule, due to the knowledge they obtained in C-Tech.
Students also report that the C-Tech program allowed them to consider and visualize a career in telecommunications. Students who graduate from this program feel confident they have the basic skills needed to work in the industry.
