Dorothy began her career in education in 2001 as a classroom teacher. She joined the Ombudsman team in 2008 as a lab manager and became principal of East Charter. Dorothy now leads an exceptional team of principals and oversees operations for Ombudsman’s nine Arizona charter schools. She is passionate about second chances, fresh starts, serving her community, and helping students graduate. Dorothy has a Master of Educational Leadership from A.S.U. and a Bachelor of Arts in history and political science from Columbia University. Additionally, she has Arizona certification as a principal, English and social studies teacher, and adult educator.
