Ombudsman by the Numbers

  • Since 1998, more than 3,000 students have graduated from Ombudsman Charter Schools.
  • In the 2017-2018 school year, 2,756 students enrolled in our programs.
  • The majority of those students were 15-18 years old. 15% age 18; 23% age 17; 24% age 16; 20% age 15.
  • 57% of students were male; 43% of students were female.
  • 57% of students identify as Hispanic or Latino.
  • 14% of students had an Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
  • Across all locations, we saw a 75% course completion rate.
  • 306 students graduated in the 2017-2018 school year, with a total of 6,198.5 credits earned.
  • Overall, we saw a 96% district graduation rate.
