Statement of Location for All Notices of Meetings of the Ombudsman Educational Services Charter Schools Governing Board.
To the Citizens of Arizona:
Pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431.02, Ombudsman Educational Services, Ltd., hereby states that all notices of the meetings of their Governing Board and any of its committees and subcommittees will be posted at 3624 West Bell Road, Suite 5, Glendale, AZ 85308 and online. Notices will be posted at the entrance to the office and on the website at AZ.Ombudsman.com under Public Notices. Such notices will indicate the date, time and place of meeting and will include an agenda and will be available at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting. Meetings will be held in the conference room located at 3624 West Bell Road, Suite 5, Glendale, AZ 85308.
Copies of the meeting notices, agendas, and minutes can be reviewed at the Ombudsman office located at 3624 West Bell Road, Suite 5, Glendale, AZ 85308.
The board shall transact business as authorized by ARS §38-431 (4): “Meeting means the gathering, in person or through technological devices, of a quorum of a public body at which they discuss, propose or take legal action, including any deliberations by a quorum with respect to action”.

Child Find Activities
- Public schools and the Arizona Early Intervention Program (AzEIP) are responsible for locating, identifying and evaluating all children with disabilities, ages birth through 21 years old.
- Ombudsman is responsible for referring children to their local school district who are between the ages of two years nine months up to five years, who may require special education programming.
- Ombudsman is also responsible to ensure that children in the age group from birth to two years nine months, who have developmental delays, are located, identified and evaluated. Ombudsman will serve as a referral agent to AzEIP (Arizona Early Intervention Program) and ensure that each child referred to AzEIP through Ombudsman is screened within forty five calendar days of the date the school received official notification of the parent/guardian’s concern. All such referrals to AzEIP will be made through the Ombudsman Arizona Administration office. - Pursuant to A.R.S. §41-1351 and the General Records Retention Schedule for School Districts and Charter Schools Student Records (#000-11-53) established by Arizona State Library, Archives and Public Records (L.A.P.R.), Special Education Records (including placement records, referrals, evaluations, testing data and other related records) will be destroyed “four (4) years after fiscal year of final enrollment.”Ombudsman Charter Schools Arizona will destroy all special education records that are older than four years as of June 30, 2022. Before these records are destroyed, parents and/or eligible students have the right to review the records and obtain copies of any information needed. To schedule an appointment, please call Ms. Litecky prior to July 4, 2022. enrollment.
Ombudsman Charter Schools Arizona will destroy all special education records (including placement records, referrals, evaluations, testing data and other related records) that are more than four years old on January 3, 2018. Before destruction, parents and/or eligible students have the right to review the records and obtain copies of any information needed.
