Students have the opportunity to earn NHA certification through the National Healthcare Association in today’s leading health care opportunities. All of our Ombudsman campuses offer certifications for Pharmacy Technician and Medical Billing. Our Metro, Northeast, and Tucson campuses also offer Medical Assisting and are NHA testing sites.
Ombudsman students who completed this program have accepted pharmacy technician, medical assisting, and medical billing & coding jobs at various types of organizations and companies, including:
- Private medical practices
- Hospitals
- Outpatient clinics
- Urgent cares
- Medical research centers Diagnostic laboratories Psychiatric care
- Palliative care
- Blood Banks
- Healthcare Centers
Ombudsman students who successfully graduate our NHA Medical Billing & Coding, Pharmacy Technician, or Medical Assisting Certification programs have gone on to work for local and national organizations and companies, including:
Students who have participated in this program said they have gained the knowledge and skills to successfully work in several different kinds of medical practices; and they can successfully work in both medical front office and medical back office roles. All of our certification courses include resume writing which helps our students to effectively showcase their qualifications and stand out in today’s competitive job market.
One former student stated, the program has allowed her to grow, and she is now involved assisting in a Thoracentesis medical procedure. The same student noted that this program has provided her with the training needed to be successful in the field. Another Ombudsman graduate stated that he was grateful that he was able to attend a medical program during high school at no cost.
