Students have the opportunity to earn NHA certification through the National Healthcare Association in today’s leading health care opportunities. Charter Metro is also a NHA testing site.
Ombudsman students who completed this program have accepted medical billing and coding jobs at various types of organizations and companies, including:

- Outpatient clinics
- Urgent cares
- Medical research centers Diagnostic laboratories Psychiatric care
- Palliative care
- Blood Banks
Ombudsman students who successfully graduate our NHA Medical Billing & Coding Certification program have gone on to work for local and national organizations and companies, including:
Students who have participated in this program said they have gained the knowledge and skills to successfully work in several different kinds of medical practices; and they can successfully work in both medical front office and medical back office roles.
One former student stated, the program has allowed her to grow, and she is now involved assisting in a Thoracentesis medical procedure. The same student noted that this program has provided her with the training needed to be successful in the field. One student stated that he was grateful that he was able to attend a medical program during high school at no cost.
