Yes, every year we will host our traditional graduation ceremony at the end of the school year to celebrate all graduates from that year. During the celebration, students wear caps and gowns and get to walk across the stage with their class.
Click on “Get Started” in the menu to fill out the form. A staff member will contact you soon to guide you on the next steps.
Our classrooms tend to be smaller than a traditional high school and while in school, students are immersed in a blended learning environment. What this means is that for their English and Math classes students will be in a traditional teacher-led classroom, similar to what you see in a traditional high school. For the rest of the time, students are in a lab environment working at their own pace through the rest of the classes. In the labs, there is a teacher to provide one-on-one support.
Students attend school for four hours a day Monday-Friday. You’ll have the option to attend our morning or afternoon session.
For those students who cannot attend regularly, we have the OMB Online Academy which provides greater schedule flexibility.

Principal's Letter
Dear Students & Families:
We are happy to welcome you to Ombudsman Online Academy, better known as OMB OA. My first experience with Ombudsman was as a parent. My own highschoolers were behind in credits and we chose Ombudsman to help recover credit. Whether you are looking to recover credit, graduate early, or simply work school into adult life responsibilities- OMB OA keeps that diploma in sight. With over 24 years in education amongst us, our Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert staff is well equipped to meet the needs of all learners. We are happy to offer our students an alternative route to earning their high school diploma.
Attendance and productivity are key elements for success as an online student. Students are required to work on their courses at least 25 hours per week. However, the possibilities are endless with the ability to work on courses 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
All online students have a mentor teacher that helps them stay on track with coursework and their graduation goals. A student can reach a teacher by email, chat, Teams meeting, phone, and in-person tutoring at any of our locations.
This year we have a new incentive program called OMB Perks! Students have the opportunity to earn points for completing school related tasks and engaging in activities. Those points can be redeemed for a variety of items including a laptop, student trips, gift cards, and more.
Our goal is to connect with our students and families, collaborate with students and the community to achieve academic and personal goals, and graduate our students! Our motto is “Do More. Be More.” and we will push you to do just that!
Sincerely,
Ms. Tanicka Garretson
