Ombudsman Online Academy is an alternative online high school operating statewide in Arizona. We are committed to providing a learning experience that connects students with teachers, social workers, classroom peers, while integrating all Microsoft 365 applications. Our diverse population of learners includes students who are credit deficient and need to catch up to get back on track to graduate, work full time, need a flexible learning schedule, or may want to accelerate high school graduation to move on to college or career opportunities. The Ombudsman Online Academy experience will include a personalized approach to learning guided by a mentor teacher, social worker, and classroom teachers.

Absolutely. Ombudsman Arizona Charter High Schools accept transfer credits from previous schools. If a student chooses to return to their former Arizona high school, credits earned at Ombudsman are transferable and count toward graduation requirements.
Ombudsman Arizona Charter High School students graduate with an accredited Arizona high school diploma—not a GED. The diploma meets requirements for college admission, employment, military enlistment, and other post-secondary opportunities.

Yes, the Ombudsman Online Academy provides a fully online charter high school program for Arizona students who need a flexible, remote learning environment. This online option makes earning an accredited diploma accessible for students throughout the state of Arizona.
Students at Ombudsman Arizona Charter Schools choose either a morning or afternoon session, attending four-hour classes Monday through Friday. This flexible schedule accommodates work, family, and personal needs. Students who attend the Online Academy work online 25 hours a week.

Learning at Your Own Pace—Never Alone
Our flexible online model allows students to learn at their own pace, in their own space, while staying connected to a supportive community. Students are expected to log in and engage for at least 25 hours per week, during school hours.
